This past weekend the U10 Windsor Jr. Spitfires captured the Nations Cup for Team Canada! Joining us as a Nation was the Huron Perth Lakers, Chatham-Kent Cyclones and Markham Waxers. All of these teams helped contribute to the win for Canada. These kids battled hard all weekend long going 2-2-1 and winning on the final day. Without our win on the final day, Canada would not have won as a Nation!
During our games, the players were relentless and played through several injuries and illnesses, working hard with a short bench for the majority of the weekend. The coaching staff and parents are all very proud of what these young kids were able to accomplish and are looking forward to carrying this positive momentum over into the rest of the season.
