On Wednesday evening, February 11, Hayes recorded his first career points in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) as a member of the Ottawa 67’s.In a commanding 6-0 shutout victory over the Oshawa Generals, Hayes—who was making his home debut in front of the Ottawa faithful—notched two assists. His playmaking ability was on full display in the second period, contributing to the 67's offensive surge that blew the game open.
