To All Parents and Players,
First off we would like to thank everyone who attended our U-18 AAA evaluation skates the past couple weeks. It was incredible to see the turn-out and compete level during the process of selecting our team. As everyone knows it is not easy at this time of year to select a team to start but it was also great to see the compete level to try and make the team. As a coaching staff we debated every night and beyond and we finally reached decisions to announce our team and congratulate everyone that made the starting roster. For those that did not make the starting roster we would like to thank them as well as we post an AP list.
Also would Like to thank members of the Windsor AAA Zone Board for Taking the time to help us get through the process of selecting the team, Fred Baldwin, Matt Zuccatto, Harry Crowder, Judy Wylie and our Team Manager Justin Gauthier for getting the skates ready with referees time keepers etc. Thank you!
Last but not least our coaching staff for already putting their time in for the selection and pre scouting during the summer months to get us to this point.
We would like the players on the AP list to inform our manager Justin Gauthier [email protected] if they would like to accept AP status going forward. At this level all players are entering their junior careers and its important to stay connected to the higher level and possibly get an opportunity to get called up during the season.
It was not an easy team to choose, there were hard decisions that needed to be made and we trust that from what we had on the ice and the players that were selected we are confident going forward.
Team signing will be Friday September 16, 2022, @ 6:30pm for all players and families in the Windsor AAA Board room. There will be Coaching staff introduction and then team financial meeting with our Team Manager Justin Gauthier.
The coaching staff will then proceed to the dressing room with the players for a meeting introduction and we go forward to get ready for our Exhibition game on Saturday September 17, 2022. Players will need Blue Helmets and blue pants entering the start. If pants are still good a blue pant shell is sufficient.
We will be hitting the ice for the first team practice to prepare for weekend.
