Windsor Jr. Spitfires shine at Toronto Titans Tournament
TORONTO, ON — The Windsor Jr. Spitfires U16 and U18 AAA teams posted strong showings at the prestigious Toronto Titans Tournament, advancing to quarterfinal play and showcasing disciplined, team-first hockey throughout the weekend.
U16 AAA: Unbeaten in round robin, edged in OT by top seed
The U16 Jr. Spits went 3-0-1 to finish first in their division:

In the quarterfinals, Windsor pushed the top-ranked Vaughan Kings to overtime, falling 3–4 (OT) in a high-quality, end-to-end contest. It capped a confident round robin featuring timely scoring, structure without the puck, and poised special-teams play. The U16s now turn the page to next weekend’s Wendy Dufton Memorial Tournament in London.
“It was a fantastic effort from the whole team,” said the U16 coaching staff. “We came up just short in overtime, but we’re proud of the compete level and excited to build on this in London.”
U18 AAA: Three round-robin wins, quarterfinal loss to eventual champs
The U18 Jr. Spitfires posted a 3-1 round robin before bowing out in the quarters to the host and eventual champion Toronto Titans:
