Pink in the Rink: Jr. Spitfires Unite for Cancer Awareness
This October, the Windsor Jr. Spitfires honour a program-wide tradition—suited up in pink and standing together for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We welcome contributions of any amount—collections will be available at participating games and events, and teams will share e-transfer details through their official channels.
This year’s U14 AAA team is dedicating its Cancer Awareness Game to Coach Carl Olender and his wife, Georgina Olender—two extraordinary members of our hockey community.
Coach Carl’s legacy in Windsor hockey is unmatched, and Georgina’s courageous journey through breast cancer reminds us why we play with heart, purpose, and unity. Her story is a hopeful one, and with continued support for cancer research, we strive for more happy endings — for every family facing this fight.
