We’re proud to announce Thomas Luxik as the new head coach of the Windsor Jr. Spitfires U13 AAA team. Thomas brings a truly international foundation to his coaching. He began his career in Europe, working with junior national programs in the Czech Republic and Germany, where he immersed himself in high-performance development environments and studied under some of the game’s most respected minds. Those early experiences shaped a coaching philosophy centered on skill mastery, hockey IQ, and long-term athlete growth.
After transitioning to North America, Thomas quickly made his mark. Training elite players throughout the United States and Canada, he became known for his attention to detail and ability to elevate athletes to the next level. While competing at the university level himself, he continued to refine his approach—combining firsthand playing experience with progressive development strategies.
In Essex County, his results speak for themselves. Thomas has guided teams to three regional championships, including consecutive titles, and led programs to the provincial stage and premier events such as the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament. His teams are disciplined, skilled, and prepared to compete at the highest levels.
Thomas’s expertise has also earned the trust of NHL prospects and current NHL players who rely on his training to sharpen their skills and maintain a competitive edge.
Under Thomas’s leadership, our U13 AAA athletes will benefit from a coach who demands excellence, builds confidence, and develops complete players. His passion, experience, and commitment to development will have a lasting impact on the Jr. Spitfires program.
