Border City Cup a Success

Over the weekend of the Canadian Thanksgiving 26 teams from Canada and the United States attended the WFCU Arena and participated in the 16th annual Border City Cup.  Attendance was up for the tournament and the convenor would like to thank the players, referees and parents for their assistance and support.  The winners for the three divisions are -

Bantam Major - London Jr. Knights 2-1 (OT) over the SC Panthers
Minor Midget - Halton Hurricanes 2-1 over the Buffalo Regals
Major Midget - Team Ohio 5-2 over the Guelph Jr. Storm

In addition Maximum Edge donated a KONA Kahuna 30 speed mountain bike to be given to one of the qualifying game MVP from the tournament as selected by the coaches.
This years winner is from Broomfield Colorado - David Mitchell.
