Windsor 99 Spitfires come up short in finals, News, Bantam (99), 2013-2014 (Windsor AAA Zone)

The Windsor 99 Spitfires start season on a high note going 4 & 2 at the Ottawa SensPlex AAA Tournament and advancing to the finals this past weekend.

After finishing 1st overall in round robin play the Jr Spitfires defeated CIH Academy to advance to the finals vs Syracuse Nationals. Unforuneatly, the Jr Spits ran out of gas in the early going and couldnt find a way to put the puck past a very solid Syracuse goaltender. Although not the finish the players and coaches had hoped, this was an excellent warm-up heading into regular season play.
