U16 (Windsor AAA Zone)

The U16 Jr Spitfires head to Toronto this weekend to play in the Toronto Marlboro's Tournament.  Day one of the tournament, your Jr Spitfires will face a top ranked Upper Canada College at 1:30pm.  Game two will begin at 6:30pm vs the Peterborough Jr Petes.  Game three goes Sunday as the Jr Spitfires will face the Hamilton Steel who play in the OMHA.  The Windsor Jr Spitfires will finish their round robin with another high ranked team in the Mississauga Rebels at 8am Monday morning.  We wish the boys all the best!!

The Windsor Jr. Spitfires U16 team had an impressive Toronto Titans tournament.  The Jr Spits went 3-0-1 for first place in their division.  The Spits opened up against the Peterborough Jr Petes in game one with a 4-3 win.  In game two, the Jr Spits tied a very tough team in the Reps Hockey Club 2-2. 

On behalf of my staff and myself, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the players who participated in tryouts this week. You truly made our decisions incredibly challenging, as every single one of you worked hard and gave it your all. We sincerely appreciate the effort and dedication you brought to the ice.

The players listed are required to dress for tonight's exhibition game. Please arrive by 6 PM. Thank you to everyone who has tried out thus far, and we wish you the best in your A Centre tryouts.

With over 14 years of coaching experience and a High Performance coaching certification, Matt has been a cornerstone in developing young talent in the Windsor Jr. Spitfires program.
