Three members of the Windsor AAA Minor Midget team were named to the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario All Star event that was held Dec. 6-7 in Waterloo.
Forward Cody Schnieder and defenceman Matthew MacLeod played for Alliance all-star blue while forward Kevin Gursoy took the ice for Alliance all-star navy.The blue team went 1-3. MacLeod was pointless while Schnieder had a goal and an assist in four games. Gursoy had a goal for the 2-2 navy squad. Gursoy and Schnieder led the Spitfires in points with 14 while MacLeod had nine.The Spitfires are 5-14-4 this season. Their next game is Dec. 12 when they host the league-leading London Jr. Knights at Central Park (North). Puck drop is 8:30 p.m.
