Silver Stick Champions
Congratulations to the Windsor AAA Midget team for winning the 2016-17 International Silver Stick Championship. The team went 3-0-1 in pool play beating the teams 19-7 in goals scored.
The semi final game was a defensive battle with Richmond Coyotes, but Windsor prevailed in the end with a shutout win of 1-0 advancing to the final.
The team then played Tampa Bay Scorpions for the championship and won 5-1.
Congratulations to Coach Makaric and the team for an awesome win. This is the 2nd Silver Stick Championship for Coach Makaric in the last 3 years, winning previously in 2014-15.
