The Bantam Major Jr. Spitfires wrapped up their regular season last weekend by finishing first overall in the league. It was a fantastic regular season as the team finished 27-3-2 good for 56 points. The boys set some goals before the season started and achieved them with their hard work and team first attitude. The coaching staff is extremely proud of them! We look forward to achieving more of our team goals moving into the post season! Go Spits Go!

It was a fun day for the Jr Sptits who attended the All Star game in Woodstock last weekend. It had all the making of a typical all star game as players showed off their skills in a wide open 8-7 win. Team west took the win and got big contributions from all five players who attended. Charlie Paquette lead the way with three goals and picking up the game mvp for Team West. Johnny Lopez, Andrew Gibson, Connor Paronuzzi all contributed offensively and Daniel Piccolo made a lot of saves as he only gave up three in a wide open affair. The boys represented their teammates and the AAA Zone with class. Head coach Matt Zuccato and assistant coaches Nick Swiatoschick and Greg Fera had a blast and couldn't be more proud of their players!

The Bantam Majors were invited to play in the OHL Battle of the Boarder this past weekend held at the WFCU Centre in Windsor. The Jr. Spits opened up with a 5-0 win against the Chicago Young Americans. Saturday was another great showing with a 5-3 win over Detroit Compuware and finished with a 3-1 win over the Oakland Grizzles on Sunday. The boys attended a seminar on Saturday afternoon where they learned all about the OHL and what it has to offer. Saturday night they enjoyed watching the hometown Spitfires beat the North Bay Battalion 6-4 while up in a suite. The Jr. Spitfires want to send a big thank you to the owners of the Spitfires for letting us use their suite for the game!
Go Spits Go!!!
