Minor Midget (98), 2013-2014 (Windsor AAA Zone)

On August 24 and 25, 2013 the Minor Midget team (98) had the opportunity to host and billet a Russian hockey team for two games and three days of fun.  This team travelled southern Ontario and Michigan for 21 days and played 17 games during this time.  The score of the games didn't mean as much as the experience the boys had interacting with each other.

The Windsor Spitfires 98 team will be hosting a two game home stand against the St Petersburg Locomotiv - GAZPROMBANK Team.   The games will be played in the Central Park Athletics at 3400 Grand Marais Rd E, Windsor. This will be an exciting weekend where families have volunteered to billet the Russian players in their own homes.

The Minor midget 98 team would like to wish good luck to their fellow teammates in the upcoming International Children's Games in Windsor Ontario. Josh Talerico, Gibson Krzeminski, Tyler Jamieson and Lucas Diluca (alternate) are participating for the Windsor team this weekend. Good luck boys.

On Sunday August 11, 2013, the Minor Midget 98 team organized a beach volleyball tournament for any families interested. The conditions were perfect for the 12 participating teams, where the theme of the day was fun. The Paquette family entered two teams and saw Team Paquette #2 play Team Novak for the finals. 

The Minor Midget team is hosting a Pasta Dinner Fundraiser at the CIPBA Centre on July 12, 2013. Tickets are $15 a person.  If you are interested in attending please contact a parent from the team for your tickets. The CIPBA Centre is located at 995 Howard Ave, Windsor.
